The Greater Phoenix Multi-Cultural and Arts Foundation (MCAF) is
a non-profit organization serving the Valley of the Sun by providing
direct service programming to urban youth as well as professional
development and education to the business community with a multi-cultural
emphasis. The visitor industry is a $6-billion industry in Greater
Phoenix and accounts for approximately 225,000 jobs. As the region’s
second-largest industry, the visitor industry has an enormous impact
on the Greater Phoenix economy. As the number of area hotels, restaurants
and area tourism attractions increase, so does the need for quality
employees. The MCAF focuses its efforts on helping youth realize
a successful future as part of this economic segment through career
exposure, business skill development and encouragement to post-secondary
education.
